Kiroj Bhandari
CA Student · Footballer · Kickboxer · Trader · Traveler
Currently pursuing my CA while staying active with football and kickboxing on the side. I follow the stock market closely, love traveling to new places, and I'm usually the one cracking a sarcastic remark when you least expect it.
A bit more about who I am
I'm Kiroj Bhandari, from Urlabari-7, Baghkhor. Right now, most of my structured hours go into studying Chartered Accountancy — a field that has taught me more about discipline and delayed gratification than I expected, and one that I take seriously even when I joke about it.
Outside of that, I live a fairly active and slightly unpredictable life. I play football regularly, train in kickboxing, and treat both as much as a mental reset as physical exercise. I also dabble in trading stocks, which has taught me that markets have zero interest in my study schedule.
Travel and adventure are the parts of my life that keep everything else in perspective — new places, new roads, and the occasional questionable decision along the way. And through all of it, sarcasm remains my default setting; it's less a personality flaw and more a coping mechanism I've fully committed to.
Based in: Urlabari-7, Baghkhor
Currently studying: Chartered Accountancy (CA)
Active in: Football, kickboxing and general chaos on weekends
Also exploring: Stock trading, travel planning, and the fine art of the well-timed comeback
Where I'm headed
Chartered Accountancy — In Progress
Working through the CA curriculum, one paper, one panic, and one late-night revision session at a time. Building a foundation in accounting, audit, taxation and financial reporting.
Applying the Numbers Outside the Classroom
Using what I learn in CA to actually understand the stock trades I make — instead of just guessing and blaming the market afterward.
What's Next
Finishing the CA program and figuring out how to turn a love of numbers, sport and travel into a career that doesn't feel like a compromise.
What I actually spend my time on
Football
My most consistent hobby. Doesn't matter how the week went — a match resets everything. I'm more reliable on the pitch than I am with my revision timetable.
Kickboxing
Started for fitness, stayed for the discipline it forces on you. It's the one place where sarcasm doesn't help — you either show up prepared or you don't.
Travelling & Adventure
Whenever I get the chance, I try to get out — new towns, new trails, new problems to solve on the fly. It's the best break from ledgers and league tables alike.
Sarcasm
Not officially a skill, but it should be. If you ask me a genuine question, expect a genuine answer wrapped in at least one unnecessary joke.
"Long on ambition, short on patience — working on both."
